National Voter Registration Day

“Are You #VoteReady?” Find Answers to your Voter Registration Questions

The League of Women Voters of the Northwoods (LWVNOW) is excited to once again be part of a national effort to strengthen our community by registering voters on September 24, 2019, also known as National Voter Registration Day. As a nonpartisan unofficial national holiday, National Voter Registration Day is designed to create an annual moment when the entire nation focuses on registering Americans to exercise their most basic right – the right to vote.

Remember, if you have moved since the last election, you will need to re-register.  You can check your registration status and/or register online at www.Vote411.org.

If you would like assistance you can find LWVNOW volunteers at the following locations this week:

  • Rhinelander District Library, September 24 @ 1:00 - 3:00 pm

  • Minocqua Public Library, September 24 @ 4:30 - 6:30 pm

  • Grow North EcoVillage, September 27 @ Noon - 5 pm

  • Grow North EcoVillage, September 28 @ 10 am - 5 pm

LWVNOW has placed instructional flipbooks in public libraries in Antigo, Boulder Junction, Crandon, Eagle River, Merrill, Minocqua, Rhinelander, Three Lakes, and Tomahawk to assist you to self-register online using Wisconsin’s voting site, https://myvote.wi.gov. Ask for the tools if not readily available.
