Get Money Out of Politics

On Thursday, May 5, at 7:00 pm, the League of Women Voters of the Northwoods is hosting a presentation by Matt Rothschild, executive director of the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, at the Sloan Community Center in Lake Tomahawk.  Rothschild’s presentation, “Why We Need to Get Money Out of Politics,” promises to be lively and thought provoking. 

The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign is a nonprofit watchdog group now in its third decade of working for clean, open, and honest government.  The League of Women Voters of the Northwoods is a non-partisan group whose goal is to encourage informed voting and participation in the democratic process.
