The League of Women Voters of the Northwoods is, again, sponsoring a public forum for the town of Lac du Flambeau residents on March 23rd at 9:30 am at the Lac du Flambeau Public School Auditorium, 2899 Hwy 47 South, Lac du Flambeau. The public is invited to arrive at 8:45 am to prepare written questions for the candidates. All candidates for the Town Chairman, the two seats for Town Supervisor, and the Town Treasurer will be invited to participate. The forum will be moderated by Louise Schotz, Secretary, LWVNOW and hosted by the Citizens for Education in Town Governance (CETG) who will provide refreshments.

This event is a great opportunity for voters and candidates to meet, ask questions and share views.  During the forum, each candidate will be asked to make a brief ninety second introduction to include who they are, why they are running for the office, what background they bring to help the town government, and what they believe to be the most important issue in the town today.  After opening statements, audience questions will be selected by the moderator, for discussion.
