Northwoods Go Big Read - Public Discussion

  • Tribal DNR Conference Room Lac du Flambeau, WI (map)

Go Big Read is coming to the Northwoods this October and all are are invited to participate!

Go Big Read, now in its tenth year at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, is a common book program established to engage the campus community and those beyond in a shared reading experience. The book for 2018-19 is The Death and Life of the Great Lakes by Dan Egan, published in 2017. This book focuses on the imperiled Great Lakes. As we face our own issues of water quality and invasive species here in the Northwoods, the book is both a cautionary tale and a call to action.

Northwoods Go Big Read invites you to take part in the following public discussion:
- Thursday, October 4, 5:30-7:00 pm in the the Tribal DNR conference room, Lac du Flambeau; facilitated by Larry Wawronowicz

The Minocqua Public Library has ordered extra copies for lending. For more information, send email to northwoods.go.big.read@gmail.com
